About me

Elif Siebenpfeiffer – freelance illustrator

After studying Archaeology and Scandinavian Culture, I decided to switch back to my other passion and became a full time freelancer illustrator in 2012. Since then I’ve worked with multiple publishers, agencies and other companies as well as private clients. While my main focus lies within the realms of fantasy and historical illustrations, characters and covers for books and games, I also offer comics, storyboards and concept art work.

I was born and raised in Kiel, one of the most northern coastal cities of Germany but moved to the middle of the country a couple of years ago, where I live and work on an old farm with a lot of cats, chickens, sheep, ponies and my dog. When I’m not working, I still pursue my interest in historical and archaeological subjects, sewing and crafting, horse riding and listen to a lot of music featuring screaming people and loud guitars.
