I was born in 1987 in Kiel, a town in northern Germany. While I studied Archaeology and Nordic Studies and earned a Bachelor’s degree in 2010, I never stopped drawing. If anything, my passion grew, so I decided to become a full-time freelance illustrator in 2012.
In the spring of 2013, I moved to a small village in central Germany, where I live amongst my cats (no, I’m not becoming a crazy cat lady; they’re just everywhere outside the house) and my dog and some great people. Aside from drawing and painting, I’m addicted to good music, coffee, and live action and pen & paper RPGs.
I love telling stories to anyone who enjoys a glimpse into another world, which is why I focus on fantasy-themed illustration and concept art. Because of my academic background, I have a strong interest in historical depiction and archaeological reconstruction.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to discuss a project!
